After 19 seasons Tim Duncan aka "The Big Fundamental" retires. Drafted 1st overall by the San Antonio Spurs would win NBA Rookie of the Year in 1998. In his second season Duncan lead the Spurs to a championship  in 1999, which was a short season due to the players strike. All-NBA First-time honors 10 times, 15 - time All-star, 5-time NBA Champion. Duncan has stood the test of time, as the league would change for a big man's league to more small ball league would make the adjustments to his game. Since drafting Duncan the Spurs have the highest winning percentage in all of sports. He is 1 of 2 players to win to NBA titles in 3 decades. The best power foward to play the game, a first-ballot Hall of Fame in five years. 1 of 3 players  to win the Wooden Award, Rookie of the Year, MVP, Finals MVP, All-Star Game MVP. The other 2 players Larry Bird & Michael Jordan.  All the greats are retiring Peyton Manning, Kobe Bryant, David Ortiz after this season now The Big Fundamental. Thank you for 19 seasons TD!
