NCAA Relocates 2017 Championship Games

On Monday the NCAA announced that they will relocate  seven of its championship games because of the state civil rights protections. North Carolina legislation passed the HB 2, the Public Facilities Privacy & Security  Act, which requires transgender people to use public restrooms according to the biological sex on their birth certificate. Also embedded in the HB 2 law North Carolina workers are have been stripped workers of their ability to sue under state anti-discrimination law. After the passing the HB 2 law, Adam Silver commissioner of the NBA elected to move 2017 NBA all star game out of North Carolina and moving the annual event to New Orleans. North Carolina to another hit when PayPal said  it will no longer open its facility in Charlotte, which was expected to employ 400 people. Stay tuned for more updates.
